Cima da Conegliano, “Ospite illustre” at Intesa Sanpaolo’s skyscraper

Turin, 22rst December 2021 - 9th January 2022
Book the guided visit

For the first time at the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper there will be two ospiti illustri (distinguished guests) exhibited in an unusual setting in the Auditorium.

In the two paintings depicting the Madonna and Child, the painter establishes an almost miraculous balance between the sacred figures and the landscape and gives the impression of entering the sacred scene.

In a coherent programme that pays homage to the Venetian painters of the Renaissance, the exhibition links up with the previous Ospite illustre: Giovanni Bellini’s Madonna di Alzano from the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, on display at the skyscraper during the 2019 year-end festivities.

The exhibition opens on Wednesday 22 December at 4 p.m. while the opening times for the following days are as follows:

  • 3pm-8pm Monday to Friday and the first of January (last admission at 7.30pm)
  • 9.30am-8pm Saturday and Sunday and January 6 (last admission at 7.30pm)
  • 9.30am-1pm on December 24 and 31 (last admission al 12.30am)

On Saturday 25 December the exhibition will be closed.

Entrance is free but advanced reservation is required and available on this website from next December 15, 2021.

It follows the Book the event link with the link to the platform starting from December 15, 9am.
