
Giselle is a documentary film that for the first time shows the hidden side of the lives of the dancers of one of the most important dance companies in the world. Not only the spotlights, the photographers’ flashes, the perfection of the gesture, the eternal power of beauty, but also the fatigue, the sacrifice, the sweat, the falls, the mistakes, and then the fear, the doubts, the insecurities typical of each of us. All this while the whole country faces the terrible challenge of the Coronavirus and while the whole theatre works as a single organism to bring Giselle to the stage.
In addition to the directors and producers, the premiere will also be attended by some of the Ballet Company members involved in the film.
