The Turin trio Accordi Disaccordi became known in a few years thanks to its records and the intense live activity in Italy, Europe and recently in America. Today the group represents one of the most interesting realities of Italian gipsy jazz.
On Friday 3 May, at 6.00 pm, the trio will propose a meeting with two exceptional guests in the Auditorium: violinist Florin Niculescu and well-known actor and director Giorgio Tirabassi, expert of Django Reinhardt’s music. The original quintet aims to make us experience again the artistic path of Grappelli and Reinhardt, the two great myths of the French gipsy jazz of the Thirties, narrating curiosity and highlights from their careers and proposing their engaging music.
The magic of the meeting will be further enhanced by an “epic” instrument which will be played during the event: a Selmer 704 guitar played by the legendary Django Reinhardt during his Italian stay in 1948.Book the event
